1. Introduction

Welcome to Thomford Academy. By enrolling your child in our Saturday drama school, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between Thomford Academy (“the Academy”) and its students, parents, and guardians.

2. Enrolment

2.1. Enrolment is open to children aged 4 to 18.

2.2. A completed enrolment form and acceptance of these terms and conditions are required for all students.

3. Schedule

3.1. Classes are held every Saturday morning during the school term.

3.2. The Academy reserves the right to alter the schedule as necessary. Notification of any changes will be communicated in advance.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1. Fees are payable monthly in advance by direct debit in equal monthly instalments based on the membership selected.

4.2. Membership fees are non-refundable except for exceptional circumstances as determined by the Academy.

4.3 One months notice is required for cancellation.

4.4. Failure to pay fees on time may result in the suspension of the student’s place at the Academy.

5. Attendance and Conduct

5.1. Regular attendance is expected to ensure progress and participation in group activities.

5.2. Students and parents/guardians must inform the Academy of any absences in advance, where possible.

5.3. Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow the Academy’s code of conduct. Disruptive behaviour may result in temporary or permanent exclusion from the Academy.

6. Use of Images

6.1. The Academy reserves the right to use photographs and video recordings of students for marketing and promotional purposes.

6.2. Parents/guardians consent to the use of their child’s image unless written notice is provided to the Academy.

7. Health and Safety

7.1. Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date emergency contact information and notify the Academy of any medical conditions, allergies or additional needs.

7.2. The Academy will take reasonable steps to ensure the safety and well-being of students during class times.

8. Personal Property

8.1. The Academy is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought to classes.

9. Termination of Enrolment

9.1. Parents/guardians may terminate their child’s enrolment by providing one month’s written notice.

9.2. The Academy reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrolment for non-payment of fees or for breaches of these terms and conditions.

10. Amendments

10.1. The Academy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Parents/guardians will be notified of any changes in writing.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
